Regarding the spread of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, Isuzu Motors Company (Thailand) Limited, the Isuzu vehicle production factory, is fully aware of the health and safety of its employees. We have consistently launched countermeasures and guidelines in order to control and protect coronavirus 2019 spread.
Unfortunately on March 24, 2020, we are confirmed, based on Ministry of Public Health’s guidance that one of our supporting employees in the office of Samrong plant who is not in direct contact with customers or outsiders has been diagnosed with the coronavirus 2019 infection and is now directly getting proper treatment at the hospital. As a result, other close contact persons are going to be tested and quarantined for 14 days while we are cleaning and disinfecting all the areas.
Isuzu Motors Company (Thailand) Limited affirms that we pay highest attention to the health and safety of customers, business partners and employees. We assure that this incident will not impact our productions, sales, and customer service operations. The customers can be fully confident in the quality and safety of Isuzu products.
